WHAT TO WEAR

SHABBAT SERVICES

Guests at a Bat Mitzvah celebration generally wear dressy clothes — for men, either a suit or slacks, tie, and jacket, and for women, a dress or formal pantsuit.   Please dress conservatively.

The synagogue requests the following:

  • Shoulders and midriffs should be covered.

  • Spaghetti straps, strapless and backless are not allowed.

  • Skirts and dresses should be at least around knee-length.

  • Dress slacks are acceptable.

  • All men and boys must wear a kippah throughout the synagogue building. All are required to wear a head-covering on the bimah.
