WHAT TO WEAR
SHABBAT SERVICES
Guests at a Bat Mitzvah celebration generally wear dressy clothes — for men, either a suit or slacks, tie, and jacket, and for women, a dress or formal pantsuit. Please dress conservatively.
The synagogue requests the following:
-
Shoulders and midriffs should be covered.
-
Spaghetti straps, strapless and backless are not allowed.
-
Skirts and dresses should be at least around knee-length.
-
Dress slacks are acceptable.
-
All men and boys must wear a kippah throughout the synagogue building. All are required to wear a head-covering on the bimah.
