GIFTS
Want help finding something you feel good about and that Rachel will actually like?

We've put together some suggestions for you. Everything on this list can be ordered online (easy!) and while a lot of these recommendations are mostly Jewish items, it’s also perfectly appropriate to give gifts that have nothing to do with Judaism or Israel.

MONEY
Money is undoubtedly convenient for all involved and can be used for something Rachel wants right now or socked away into her college savings account. Checks are traditionally written out in $18 increments, marking the Hebrew letters for the word life (chai), which are numerically equivalent to 18.

GIFT CARDS
Rachel loves Amazon, Target and Sephora!

BONDS
Israel Bonds’ Mazel Tov Bonds and eMitzvah Bonds can be redeemed in five years, when Rachel is approaching college-age. US Savings Bonds are also a great gift in this regard.

JUDAICA
Here are some suggestions (these can all be found online):

Hanukkah Menorah
